Bio:
Khalandar Sha Khan aka Dj KsK always had a love for music, and his passion for dance music grew leaps and bounds when he first saw a video of a Tiesto Concert of 2004 in the year 2007. Amazed at how the crowd would go wild to just one man, he began collecting more videos of Tiesto and would repeatedly watch them for hours. Today he credits his love for dance music to Tiesto. A Tiesto fanatic ever since, he says, "Tiesto is my idol of Dance Music for me, as until 2008, I knew no other Dj so well. If it wasnt for him, I dont think I would have been motivated to become a Dj." He started off learning basics using Dj softwares such as Traktor and Virtual Dj and began performing for small college functions. He says, "Sunburn 2009 was a big influence on me and I knew I wanted to be a professional Dj. It just widened my world to other genres of music such as House music. I was only into Trance following the likes of Tiesto, Armin and Paul Van Dyk."
KsK prefers playing House, and is hoping to make it big in the mainstream clubs and dreams of sharing the console with the top most Dj's. He has shared the console with Goa's topmost Dj's such as Dj Ajit Pai and Dj Navin Rodrigues, Dj Claudio, Dj Jay and has played at Clubs like Club Ivy and Club Westend. There's still a long way to go in the club circuit. He's just 20 years old and he believes he is still learning something new everytime he hears an international Dj on a podcast. "I want to keep learning new skills and tricks. The possibilities are vast but you have to be on your toes and keep learning and trying something new," he says.
